TUNA BLUE MARINA

The Tuna Blue Marina consists of ten slips that are available for day or overnight rentals. You can also anchor or pick up a mooring and bring your dinghy into our dinghy dock to visit our other facilities. We have paddle boards and kayaks available for rent. We accept all major credit cards. Please give us a call to arrange your boating or outdoor needs.

SHORE CLUB

The Tuna Blue is five minutes to the famous Shore Club. The Shore Club is famous for their dances and lobster dinners. Every weekend they bring in some great Nova Scotia bands and the place fills up with people of all ages. This is a must do !

FREEWHEELING ADVENTURES

Freewheeling adventures offers bike and kayak rentals. You can rent for a day or a week and they will deliver right to the Tuna Blue. Call for more information 1-800- 672-0775 or visit www.nsbikerentals.com.

ASPOTOGAN PENINSULA

This 50 km drive is famous for rugged beauty, scenic beaches and small fishing communities. It is a great way to spend an afternoon driving around the loop. It is also a very popular bike ride.

THE TRELLIS

Welcoming hungry people since 1988, this local restaurant is located in the village of Hubbards. They display works from local artists and have live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.

BEACHES

The closest beach to the Tuna Blue is Hubbards Beach, It is a 7 minute walk and there is a small admission but it is worth it to enjoy this beautiful beach. There are change rooms and bathrooms available. Queensland Beach is a 5-minute drive and is a very popular destination with change rooms and a lifeguard on duty.

GOLF

Aspotogan Ridge – We are excited to have a golf course newly open in our back yard. 5 minutes away. Currently 9 holes, expanding to 18 soon.

Chester Golf Club – One of the top courses in the province. 15 minutes.

The Links at Brunello – Another brand new course in the area opening June 15. 20 minutes.

RAILS TO TRAILS

The Tuna Blue is just minutes from the Rails to Trails either by bike or by foot. The Rails to Trails are a series of railway tracks converted to hiking and biking trails.

You can travel from Halifax to Mahone Bay on these trails.

HOOKED RUG MUSEUM OF NORTH AMERICA

Market: The market place has over 600 rugs to choose from - take one home!.

Exhibits: This non profit museum exhibits hooked rugs from the Maritimes and around North America. Trust us - it's impressive.

Hook-Ins: Learn how to hook or watch the masters at work. Check for times and availability - they are popular.

HUBBARDS FARMERS MARKET

Every Saturday morning 8am - 12pm you can drop by the market at the Red Barn and meet local farmers, bakers, artists, etc. and have a coffee and socialize. It's the place to be !

LOLA'S

Lola's Landing is your shopping destination in sunny Hubbards. They have a great selection of gifts, clothing, jewellery, purses, shoes, home and garden decor and the list goes on and on. Make sure to stop in, you won't be disappointed.
